A collaboration between paint and the printed word: in conjunction with an exhibition by artist Alison Vickery, we have published a collection of poetry and short stories called Home Ground, featuring authors who share Alison’s sense of connection to their own corners of the UK.
The exhibition by the same name is about taking a closer look at the practice of an artist who has a strong relationship with a specific landscape. Artist Alison Vickery examines her relationship with her local landscape, and how returning to the same locations brings change and new experiences into her work. Visitors to the show will be able to gain first access to the new book, and enjoy a rare opportunity to explore Alison’s sketchbooks alongside finished work.
