Katie Ballard – Colour and Pattern

We’re delighted to be hosting a show of work by Cirencester artist Katie Ballard in the shop throughout December.

Katie is a printmaker and her love of colour and pattern influences her work.

After a degree in Graphic Design in Nottingham, she moved to Cirencester as art director for an international marketing company. She has worked on projects with Cadbury, Save the Children, Tetley tea and Volvo.

Woodcut printmaking underpins her artistic journey, also making use of linocut and stamps to add colour and depth. Her prints take their inspiration from the natural world, produce and flowers from her garden and her retro ceramics collection. In 2021 she was one of three artists contributing to the Wings Wood Weave exhibition at the Corinium Museum.

All prints in this solo show are original and for sale, framed in oak. Look out for special insights into her work on social media throughout her exhibition.

We’re open 10:30 to 4:30, Tuesday to Saturday including Christmas Eve. Admission is free to the exhibition and browers are very welcome.
