Refund and Returns Policy

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Returning a book because you’ve changed your mind

We understand that sometimes you make a purchase only to change your mind. On the rare occasion that this happens, it may be possible to refund or exchange your item.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

We’re sorry, we cannot refund or replace a book which has visible signs of being read or handled.

Return of damaged goods

If you believe that you have been sent a damaged item of stock, please get in touch immediately after receipt of the item. We will do our best to help.

We will not be able to replace or refund your item if you don’t contact us as soon as is practicably possible.

Missing item

Let us know as soon as you can if an item you ordered does not arrive or is damanged in transit.

How to return your item

Please get in touch to inform us that you would like to return your item by emailing books@crumpsbarnstudio.co.uk

To complete your return, we will need your order number – this can be found on your confirmation email when you placed your order.

There are certain situations where we will not be able to offer a refund:

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds and replacements

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval of your refund or replacement, or explain why it has been rejected.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed though PayPal and returned to your original form of payment within a standard amount of days.

Gifts

If the item was bought as a gift when purchased and delivered directly to the end recipient, the returns policy is the same as above. Please provide us with the original order number – this will be included on the packing slip.

A refund or replacement may be available, but we are only able to arrange a refund to the original payment method, sorry. We do not offer credit notes or gift cards.

You will be responsible for paying for your own delivery costs for returning your item. Delivery costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning valuable items such as a hand bound book, please ensure that you send the return by tracked delivery. We cannot be liable for any items which are lost in the post.
