Later, Icarus

£9.99

‘Icarus swam ashore

Bedraggled, humiliated’

Myths and legends capture the fragility and intensity of human experience – but there are gaps between the stories people hold to be true and how it feels to witness these moments or live them.

Thoroughly relatable, Later, Icarus uncovers what happens beyond the headlines, in the aftermath.

All at once evoking a classical epilogue and a beautifully personal story of the everyday, these are the voices of ordinary people in poetry – the legends and the forgotten – as they reveal their own truths, and experience what comes next

Now appears a vast, exquisite silence.

From this peaceful place

The view is long

The silence vibrates
