About the author:
Rose Dunfield is a lifelong felinophile, and she has written short pieces for various cat magazines, before setting down the stories of her own and other village cats in this book.
She has a great regard for the lives of all creatures, including, gnats, wasps and other bitey, stingy things! She also volunteers at a local wildlife rescue centre caring for a range of birds and animals and regards it as an atonement to nature for the sometimes deliberate or clumsy actions of humans.
Other interests are local history research and gardening (though the actions of badgers in the sweetcorn bed is sometimes a trial of patience). She lives in the south west of England.
