50 years of professional writing: an audience with Michael Bartlett

Bookings are now being taken for a fabulous event on Saturday 2 March for literary fans, as well as radio drama enthusiasts and budding writers.

We’re absolutely delighted that lifelong scriptwriter and four-times published author Michael Bartlett is launching our new programme of author talks and workshops at our Cirencester bookshop.

Travelling from Norfolk, Michael is the award-winning scriptwriter behind many BBC Radio dramas and stage plays, and the author of popular short story collection My Village in the Valley, and new release thriller Hunting the Hornets, along with literary works Personal Islands and Dreams of Eleven.

Visitors to the event at 2 The Waterloo, Cirencester will hear a lively talk about Michael’s long writing career which spans 50 years, with the highs and lows and plenty of humour.
